IROQUOIS – For the third time in three months, the Circle K in Iroquois was robbed.
SDG OPP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the store at 3:02 a.m. Friday morning (January 18th).
Police say that an unknown suspect entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect fled the scene with an amount of Canadian currency and tobacco products. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, slim build, and between five foot, seven inches, and five foot, eight inches tall. He was wearing a black jacket with a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes with three white stripes on it. The suspect had his face covered with a white cloth and has blue eyes.
The first robbery occurred on November 17th when two suspects entered the store after 3 a.m. and stole currency and tobacco products. Then on December 12th, a single suspect entered the location just after midnight and stole currency and tobacco products.
Police have not said if the three incidents are related. The SDG OPP crime unit continues to investigate.
