Environment Canada issues Tornado Watch

SOUTH DUNDAS – Environment Canada has issued a tornado watch for the region covering an area from Brockville to Kemptville, to Long Sault and Newington, including South Dundas.

The agency says the conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which can produce tornadoes.

EC says the threat of severe thunderstorms will end early this evening and than an isolated tornado is possible.
