Count down to the Count

The Iroquois-Matilda Lions Club production of the comedy The Count Will Rise Again or Dracula in Dixie is a little over two weeks away. Tickets for the four performances at Upper Canada Playhouse, April 21-23, are starting to go very fast, as the cast of 10 enters the final weeks of rehearsal. This ‘wickedly’ funny play, featuring a vampire or two, some intrepid vampire hunters, and a few very confused Southern folk, will entertain young and old. In the tradition of all previous Lions productions, funds raised from the Count will be used to support Lions projects right here in South Dundas. Tickets can be purchased at Mustard’s, Scotiabank, the Playhouse, and from any Lion. Front row, l-r, Margaret Swerdfeger, Marg Johnston, Glenn Swerdfeger, Reina DeJong and Erica Scott. In the back row are Rick Mackenzie, Brian Speer, Bill Rumble, Jim Mustard and Barry Fawcett. Don’t let the coffin lid slam down without you!
