William (Willie) Wallace Strader passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. 

Willie was born on March 24, 1945, and raised with eight older siblings on the MacIntosh Homestead in Dundela, Ontario. 

At 18 Willie joined the Navy where he held the position of Communicator aboard the HMCS Lanark.

He returned to Cardinal where he held a successful 40 year career at CASCO.  

Willie is survived by his loving wife Audrey and his daughters Shelley (Tim) and Kendra (Amber). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandson Oliver, sisters Edna Dishaw (Arthur) and Lorna Lascelle (Ernie) and many nieces and nephews.

Willie was predeceased by brothers Ken, Glen and John and by his sisters Jean, Margaret and Anna.

Family and friends called at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal, on Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 9 a.m. until time of the service.  Funeral service was held at the funeral home at 10:30 am.

Interment was at Dundela Cemetery.
