Upper Canada Village’s award-winning fall event Pumpkinferno is getting ready to enchant visitors once again this fall with the addition of 11 new themed exhibits.
The creative and artistic event will be open on select nights Thursday, October 1–Sunday, November 1, 2015.
Recognized as Best New Event in Ontario, Tourism Event of the Year and as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Events, Pumpkinferno is a unique blend of artistry, imagination and ingenuity featuring 30 exhibits created from 6,000 intricately carved lit artificial pumpkins.
“A priority for our teams is to continue to develop and deliver exceptional special events and visitor experiences that will draw visitors from near and far to Eastern Ontario,” says Geoff Waycik, Manager, Historic Sites, St. Lawrence Parks Commission. “Once again our team has worked their creative magic with new themes and amazing artwork on display at Pumpkinferno.”
“This year we have created a family zone where you can stop and take a break partway through your tour. We’ve also added some fun ways that visitors can leave their mark at Pumpkinferno such as the new PumpkinDoodle area.”
