Champ it is, Canadian foal at Upper Canada Village gets a name

 

The recent birth of a Canadian foal was a very special occasion at Upper Canada Village and to mark his arrival, which coincides with the 350th anniversary of the Canadian Horse in Canada, a ‘Name the Canadian Foal’ contest was launched to find the perfect name for this welcome addition to the team.

This young foal, a colt, which is Upper Canada Village’s newest addition to their stable of Canadian horses that are born, raised, trained and work on site at the attraction has been named Champ, a submission made by Kylie Bell of Winchester.
