Police investigating body found in St. Lawrence River in Iroquois

IROQUOIS – SD&G OPP are investigating the death of a 20 year-old Ottawa male, found in the St. Lawrence River at Galop Canal Marina in Iroquois Saturday.

Police arrived around 1 p.m. on November 23rd after receiving a report of a body which was found in the river by scuba divers.

The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit recovered the body – no cause of death has been determined.

A post mortem investigation is being conducted.
