Tuesday school bus crash sends five students to hospital

PLEASANT VALLEY – SD&G OPP officers responded November 5th to a single vehicle collision involving a school bus on Wallace Road in the north-west corner of South Dundas.

According to police, the school bus was travelling north on Wallace Road at approximately 4:40 p.m. when it left the road and entered the ditch.

At the time of the crash the bus had eight passengers, five of whom were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Charged with careless driving causing bodily harm is the 52-year-old driver of the bus, from Oxford Mills.
