SDSG – Eric Duncan has been elected as Member of Parliament for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry. Duncan took an early lead as poll results trickled in. With 45 of 250 polls reporting, Duncan has taken 58.3 per cent of the vote.

Duncan said at his victory party at the Ramada Inn in Cornwall that his goal was to keep SDSG blue.

“We did it,” Duncan said.

Liberal candidate Heather Megill had 24.3 per cent of the vote, NDP candidate Kelsey Catherine Duncan 11.4 per cent of the vote, Green Party candidate Raheem Aman 3.8 per cent, and People’s Party of Canada candidate Sabile Trimm 2.3 per cent.
