On July 10, 2019, Nelda Brown (nee Fader) left her family and friends to be with the love of her life. Beloved wife of the late Ambert Brown for over 80 years. Loving mother of Ron Brown (Connie) of Iroquois and the late Clare Brown. Dear mother-in-law of Cay Brown of Prescott. Nelda will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kim McLean (Pat), Kevin Brown (Sue), Laurie Kolff (John), Terry Grimes (Jim), great-grandchildren Brandon Cassell (Leigh), Stacey Kirkwood (Andrew), Lyndsey Duvall, Andrew Kolff, Jaime Grimes-Hoy (Dan), Aaron Grimes, Ryan Grimes and great, great-grandchildren Halle, Ty, Evalyn, Ainsley and Benjamin. Predeceased by her sisters Edna Todd and Gladys Gill and her brothers Cecil, Kenneth and Ernest Fader. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Due to health reasons there will be no formal public visitation at the funeral home. An Eastern Star Service will be held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Friday, July 12th at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Iroquois United Church on Saturday, July 13th at 3 p.m. A luncheon will follow in the Church hall. Donations to CHEO or Ethan Tucker, a teenager Brockville student (grandson of Cindy and Randy Veinotte) who has endured 1 ½ years of hopeful recovery at CHEO would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
