Peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Irene Black (nee Sypes) of Morrisburg, age 86. Beloved wife of the late Lyle Black. Loving mother of Allan (Heather), Donald (Nancy) and David, all of Morrisburg. Loving grandmother of Jenna Crump, Joshua, Riley, Oakley, Sam and Andi Black. Dear sister of Gordon Sypes of Pembroke. Predeceased by her daughter Kathy Black, her sisters Iva St. Pierre, Lillian Ross, Erma Casselman and her brothers Doug, Ercyl, Denzil, and Donnie Sypes. Also survived nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Sunday, November 19th from 7-9 p.m. A private family interment service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Morrisburg.
