SOUTH DUNDAS – South Dundas mayor Evonne Delegarde has her eye on the warden’s seat at counties council, but she’s not the only one.

At last week’s Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry counties council meeting those interested in the seat for 2018 were asked to put their names forward.

“Our mayor Evonne Delegarde and Ian McLeod put their names forward, so there will be an election for the seat,” South Dundas deputy mayor Jim Locke told South Dundas council the news as part of his regular counties council report.

McLeod is mayor of South Glengarry.
