At the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, February 18, 2017, Eva McCooeye (nee Sypes) of Morrisburg, age 58. Loving wife of Brent McCooeye. Loving mother of Robert Sypes (Jen) of Beaumont, Alberta, and Shaun McCooeye of Morrisburg. Loving grandmother of Collin McCooeye, Hannah Sypes and Kara Sypes. Dear sister of Georgina Welsh of Morrisburg, Charlie Sypes (Judy) of Brinston, Archie Sypes (Donnell) of Williamsburg, Richard Sypes (Butch) of Cornwall, Marie Tyo (Cecil) of Morrisburg, Freida Webb (Bill) of Belleville, Fred Sypes (Roberta) of Cornwall. Barbara Sypes (David) of Morrisburg, Allan Sypes of Cornwall, Eric Sypes (Goldie) of Morrisburg and Jean Richmire (Kevin) of Morrisburg. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Emma Sypes and her brothers Billy and Gerry Sypes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A graveside interment service will be held at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. Donations to the ALS Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
