Hilda L. Banford

A long time resident of Iroquois, Hilda L. Banford (nee Mustard), passed away peacefully at Great Memorial Hospital in Perth on Monday, July 11, 2016.

She was in her  91st year.

Hilda was the beloved wife of the late Carl Banford. She was the loving mother of Joanne Banford of Iroquois and Eric (Alice) Banford of Perth.

She is also survived by her sister, Betty Thompson, of Brockville.

Hilda was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Burton and Ron Mustard, and by one sister, Gladys Robertson.

She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Joshua (Amanda), Erica (Rob), Shane (Tasha) and Patrick and by her great-grandchildren Alexandria, Liam and Heyden.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Iroquois on Monday, July 18 at 11 a.m.

Donations to the CNIB, Dundas County Food Bank or the Primate’s World Relief Fund were gratefully acknowledged by Hilda’s family. Cremated remains were interred at St. John’s Cemetery in Iroquois.
