For Alexis her skate was a personal best, despite falling on one of her jumps.

Kristyn also indicated she didn’t skate clean, also falling on a jump.

Trina Dykstra MacPherson “landed everything” but didn’t skate as well as she had hoped.

Skating at the Pre-Novice Level her Pre-Novice Combined report put her in 12th overall.

Trina,. who skates a two minute short and a three minute long program, said it was a tough compeition for everyone.

Skating in the Star 5 category, Cameryn Broad picked up a fifth place finish with her 2.5 minute program. Broad said her jumps were okay, but she was not good on her spins.

Also having a good competition was the youngest member of the club team, Lilly Napier. A good skate in the Star 2 category gave Napier a Bronze ribbon finish.

On the ice for most of the summer, Dykstra-MacPherson, VanHoof and Lilly Napier competed in the Minto Summer Skate July 3–August 2.
