New location brings new debt to Dundas County Food Bank

While the Dundas County Food Bank continues to cope with finding ways to feed more and more people, they are now looking for ways to raise funds to cover the debt incurred by setting up its new Morrisburg location.

The Municipality of South Dundas did agree to provide the DCFB with an interest-free loan of up to $46,200 to help with the moving costs.

The final numbers are in, and the Dundas County Food Bank move cost $45,267 and those funds will have to be paid back to the municipality.

As a result, the DCFB board of directors will be looking at ways to re-pay about $9,000 a year for the next five years.
