It’s time for the 24th Annual Harvest Festival Sept. 18-19

Williamsburg’s 24th annual Fall Harvest Festival is taking place a week earlier this year than last, featuring some new additions to the September 18 and 19 tradition.

The date change was a result of the traditional event date coinciding with the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo, which is taking place this year in SDG, near Finch.

Organizers were quick to agree to the Harvest Festival date change, rather than risk losing attendance to the larger event.

The biggest change this year to the Harvest Festival agenda is the  elimination of the dance.
