New Grain Dryer commissioned at Port of Johnstown in time for 2024 harvest – A $6 million grain dryer facility was commissioned last week at the Port of Johnstown, just in time for this year’s harvest season. The dryer, which consists of two large wet bins, the drying tower, and a dry storage bin, will improve both energy efficiency and drying speed at the port. On hand October 17 at the port were dignitaries and staff from the Port of Johnstown, Edwardsburgh-Cardinal council members, and local MPP Steve Clark. (The Leader/Blancher photo)
