The Mudde group was the first group of snowmobilers to sign up to participate in snowmobile portion of the Matilda Rally on Saturday. Janice Froats of the Matilda Memorial Recreation Committee which organized the event, said that they had originally tried to book the hall to hold the carnival a week earlier, but it wasn’t available. “So we had to book this weekend instead,” Froats told The Leader. “But that ended up being a good thing, because a week ago, we wouldn’t have been able to have the snowmobile rally.
