Ross guarantees funding for Iroquois Airport and Campground Building

SOUTH DUNDAS – In a renewed proposal to South Dundas council, John Ross is now guaranteeing that the Municipality of South Dundas will not have to pay more than the $350,000 in its budget to construct the John D. Ross Airport and Campground Building.

April 15th Ross sent the proposal to council which offers full funding. The letter outlining his latest proposal was submitted by John Ross to The Leader and can be seen on page 7 of the April 17th print edition.

At the April 16th meeting council will address its rejection of the previous offer. It is not known if further discussions will take place. Any council decisions on the matter which took place after press time will be detailed in the April 24th of The Leader.
