IROQUOIS – For the fourth time in as many months, the Iroquois Circle K store was robbed. Police responded to a call of an armed robbery at approximately 9:30 p.m. February 18th.
Police allege that two unknown suspects entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash. The two suspects fled the scene with a quantity of Canadian currency and tobacco products.
Officers located the two suspects in the area. Those suspects were arrested and charged in relation to this robbery, and an armed robbery that occurred at that Circle K location previously.
Charged are Kasey Molson, 34, from Cardinal, and Travis Visser, 28, from Augusta Township.
Molson faces two counts of robbery with a weapon, two counts of disguise with intent, two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and a single count of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Visser also faces two counts of robbery with a weapon, two counts of disguise with intent, two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and a single count of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Molson and Visser were held in custody pending bail and will appear later in the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
Tylor Copeland with the SDG OPP would not confirm at this time which of the other three robberies Molson and Visser were charged in relation to.
