At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 14, 2019, Gerda Joldersma (nee Heuving) of Williamsburg, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Marten Joldersma. Loving mother of Mary Douma (Harold) of Lunenburg, Ginus (Margaret) of Hulbert, Lambert (Hennie) of Hulbert and Arlene Vander Veen (Sid) of Drayton. Dear sister of Klaas Heuving (Elly) of Merrickville, Ginus Heuving (Grace) of Belleville, Frans Heuving of London and Henny Heuvel (Walter) of Iroquois and sister-in-law Henny Heuving. Oma will be fondly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Jenny Joldersma and an infant daughter, Jantje as well as her sister Jacoba Bouwman and her brothers Fred, John, Walter and Wick Heuving. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Friday, January 18th at 11 a.m. Donations to Timothy Christian School or Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
