Freezing rain expected New Year’s Eve

SOUTH DUNDAS – Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Monday night, New Year’s Eve. The agency says snow will begin this evening and change to freezing rain overnight. Freezing rain is expected to extend throughout most of the night and change to rain early Tuesday morning before ending.

Tuesday is forecast to see a drop in temperature starting midday, with a low overnight of minus-19 Celsius.
