Large scale OPP operation in South Dundas

SOUTH DUNDAS – Officers from the Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, along with canine unit, and all-terrain vehicles responded to the intersection of County Road 2 and Lakeshore Drive August 11th.
Police arrived on the scene at approximately 12 p.m. Saturday. Traffic was not cordoned off, but access to the Two Creeks Forest conservation area was blocked.
Officers on the scene referred The Leader to the detachment communications officer.
“Police are investigating a sudden death,” said acting-sergeant Tina Hunt with the OPP. “No foul play is suspected.”
Officers were on the scene for approximately 12 hours.
No other details were released by police.
