September 23, 1936 – April 21, 2018
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 21, 2018 in the May Court Hospice. In her 82nd year, Nora was the dear wife and best friend of Bill for 60 years. She will be deeply missed by her children Donna (Mario) and Ron (Joanne). Loving and proud “Granny No” to Dane (Mandy), Connor, Kari, Curtis, “step” grandmother to Adrien, Eric, Nicolas and “step” great grandmother to Emma. Nora was born in Dungiven, Northern Ireland and at age 21 emigrated to Montreal to join Bill her childhood sweetheart. Nora always spoke her mind and was steadfast in her loyalty and love of family. She lived a long and happy life. We will miss her greatly but she has left us all with wonderful memories to cherish forever.
We would like to thank the CCAC Palliative Care Team for their excellent care, kindness and compassion. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the amazing staff and volunteers at the May Court Hospice for helping to keep Nora comfortable in her final days and hours.
