Jordan wins at county cross-country

CORNWALL – For the second year in a row, Erika Jordan has won her division at the SDG county high school cross-country championship. She finished the 5K junior girls race in 21:07 minutes, 11 seconds ahead of second place Kady Jeaurond from Glengarry. Jordan won the Midget Girls 3K last year.

Lilly Lewis took home second place in the Midget Girls 4K event with a time of 18:30 minutes, 27 seconds behind Ella Bowles from host school Holy Trinity. Grace Brooks finished 22nd overall in the Senior Girls 6K event.

Alex Stewart took home 7th place overall in the Junior Boys 5K event, completing the race in 21:31 minutes. Theo Blancher finished 20th with a time of 23:43 minutes. Emmerson Faulbert finished 23rd in the Midget Boys 4K event.

All six runners will compete for Seaway at the EOSSAA Cross-Country championship October 26th in Kemptville.
