Suddenly as the result of an accident on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, Chris Merkley of Williamsburg, age 27. Loving husband of Jocelyn Merkley (nee Pashak). Loving father of Averie and Andrea. Beloved son of Evie Merkley (Dave Savage) and the late Yogi Merkley. Dear brother of Crystal. Maternal grandson of Florence Merkley and the late Cyril Merkley. Paternal grandson of George Jones and the late Alice Jones. Dear step-brother of Brittany, David, Taylor, Shane, Brandon and Zack. Dear son-in-law of Jeff Pashak and Gayle McGonegal and brother-in-law of Noah. Chris will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg on Saturday, August 26th at 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at the Williamsburg Oddfellows Hall.
