At the Woodland Villa Nursing Home, Long Sault, on Sunday, August 6, 2017, Beatrice Frigon (nee Froats) of Pidgeon Island, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Henry Mattice and the late Ed Frigon. Loving mother of Tammy Mattice of Cornwall, Bernadette Cheetham of Cardinal, Iona Prosser (Walter) of Prescott, Theresa Casselman (Walter) of Morrisburg and Mariette Frigon-Thew (Syd) of Niagara Falls. Dear sister of David Froats (Charlotte) of Brinston, Raymond Roderick (Carolyn) of Iroquois, Mary Fawcett (Wally) of Iroquois, Josie Casselman (Clair) of Froatburn, Ethel Scott (Gary) of Kanata, Margaret Merkley of Morrisburg, Linda Godkin (Jim) of Ingleside, Judy Sypes (Charles) of Brinston, Norma Casselman of Cardinal, Nora Robertson (Elwood) of Cornwall and Evelyn Mark (Archie) of Iroquois. Beatrice will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Pamela, Travis, Jason, Odelia, Jesse, Betty, Tony, Dale, Beth, Lynella, great-grandchildren Logan, Vincent, Sophie, Lillian, Tyler, Andrew, Brian, Adam, Salina, Michael, Ashley, Erica, Megan, Allyson, Deacon and great, great-grandchildren Zoey and Hayley. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Columbia Roderick and her brothers Bob Roderick and Henry Froats. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Thursday, August 10th from 9 am. until time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Woodland Villa or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
