OPP investigate fatal crash near Elma

ELMA — Officers of the SDG detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a two vehicle crash at the corner of County Road 7 and Boucks Hill Road near Elma. Officers responded at approximately 2 p.m. March 21st to the scene.

Investigators from the OPP revealed that the car, driven by William Morrison from South Dundas, Ontario, was travelling northbound on Boucks Hill Road, entered onto County Road 7 and collided with an eastbound tractor trailer on County Road 7.

The OPP instituted road closures After the crash while OPP Technical Traffic investigators and an OPP Reconstructionist investigated. The road reopened at approximately 9:30 p.m.
