Demons double Selects 10-5

The North Dundas Demons Bantam B-Rep team doubled the South Stormont Selects 10-5 at the Long Sault arena November 23rd.

Nolan Henry opened scoring early in the first off a pass from Owen Fetterly, making it 1-0. Nathan Feddema tied the game for the Selects four minutes later. Feddema then put the Selects in the lead with three minutes left on the clock. Selects lead 2-1 after the first period.

Justin Dagenais tied the game for the Demons early in the second period, and then scored his second of the game to put the Demons in the lead 3-2. Feddema finished off his hat trick for the Selects, tying the game at three at the mid-point of the second.

The Demons opened fire late in the second, peppering the Selects net, scoring four goals in less than three minutes. Scoring for the team were Owen Fetterly, Cole Chapman, Curtis Bell and Dagenais again. The Selects answered back with one by Adam Winter  in the melee, Demons lead 7-4 at the end of the second period.

Winter tried to rally the Selects to comeback, cutting the Demons’ lead by one at the 11 minute mark of the third period, 7-5 Demons lead. The Demons shut down the Selects, landing goals by Chapman, Nathen Verhey and Max Paquette to finish the game, final score, North Dundas Demons 10, South Stormont Selects 5.
