Eunice Aitken

Peacefully, at her daughter’s home in Terrace, B.C., Eunice Aitken (nee Gray), formerly of Iroquois, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was 96.  

She was beloved wife of the late Archibald Aitken and the late Ernest Hill.  

She was the loving mother of Marilyn Hill (Jeff Thomas) of Brinston, Linda Spooner (Les) of Terrace, B.C., Steven Hill (Julie) of Ottawa, Nancy McLean (Ed) of Smiths Falls and Kenny Hill (Maggie) of Osgoode.  

Eunice will be fondly remembered by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.  

She was predeceased by her daughters Sandra Hill and Patricia Nolan, her sons Allan and Alfred Hill, her granddaughter Tanya Hill, her sister Winnifred Bilton and Dorothy Hadenko and her brothers Albert and Wesley Gray. 

She is survived by nieces and nephews.  

A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Iroquois, on Saturday, November 26th at 2 p.m.  

Interment of cremated remains will be at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Iroquois.  

Donations to ALS would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
