Morrisburg Canada Day kids games results

48 kids took part in the first ever Canada Day summer games during the Morrisburg Canada Day celebrations.

Best times for the Pool Noodle Soccer Race were Quinn Hewison in the age 11-12 category with 16 seconds; Lauren Hewison in the age 9-10 category with 18.38 seconds; and Alex Shaver with a time of 29.84 seconds for the age 7-8 category.

In the bean bag toss event, Chazz Carello had the highest score with 150 points for the age 11-12’s; Luke Byvelds with 140 points for the age 9-10’s; and Kai Morrow with 150 points for the age 7-8’s.

In the putting contest, Quinn Hewison had the highest score in the age 11-12 category with25 points; Kade Van Bielen with 24 points for the age 9-10’s; River Irvine and Graham Loucks tied with 16 points for the age 7-8 category.

The organizers would like to thank Chuck Irvine, Laura Barkley, Ann Barkley, Colin Minish, and Max Garlough, who ran the various game stations.
