Agatha Audrey Schrama

 

Agatha “Audrey” Engelina Schrama (nee Hartveld) of Morrisburg, passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.  She was in her 93rd year.  

Audrey was the dearly beloved wife of the late Wilhelmus (William) Schrama. She was loving mother of Theresa (John) Phillips of Port Perry, Bill (Brigitte) of British Columbia, John (Lorna) of Williamsburg, Elizabeth (Michael) Vingerhoeds of Chesterville and Linda (John) Schrama-Snowden of Enniskillen.  

She was predeceased by her son Andrew and two infant children.  

Audrey will be sadly missed by nine grandchildren; Matthew, Paul, Andrea, Jason, Laura, Derek, Emily, Brianne and Erik and by three great-grandchildren Samantha, Emma and Ethan. 

Mom/grandma was a kind and generous woman of good faith.   who was proud of her past farm life.

She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 65 years. Her warmth and gratefulness will always be remembered. 

Audrey’s love of crafts was only exceeded by her love of family. Her many pieces of `bunka` embroidering, knitting and crocheting will be a lasting memory.  She was also a formidable card player.  

Family and friends called at St. Mary`s Roman Catholic Church in Morrisburg on Friday, March 11, from noon until the time of the Mass of the Christian Burial at 1 p.m.  

Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or St. Mary`s Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Pallbearers were Audrey’s  grandsons; Jason, Derek, Paul Matthew and Erik.
