Dwayne Casselman

Dwayne Robert Casselman died suddenly at his home in Blackie, Alberta, on Thursday, October 27, 2011. He was 70 years old.

Dwayne leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Myrna, his daughters Linda and Laura and his step-daughters Shawn and Kelly. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered by his sisters and brothers: Betty (Fred) Hutt, Anne Thompson, Shirley (Jack) Nelson, Barbara Benson (Bill Barnett), Charlotte (David) Froats, Gordon (Shirley), Marian, Karl (Brenda), Susan (Mac) Lewis, Janet, Janice Bradford, Sandra, Cathy, Darlene (Martin) Vanderbruggen and Donna (Karl) Billings. He is survived by his sister-in-law Tilda (Arnold) and by many nieces and nephews.

Dwayne was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Margaret Casselman; by brothers, Delbert Arnold, and Allen; by brothers-in-law John Thompson and Ron Bradford.

A Celebration of Dwayne’s life was held at High River, Alberta. The Honour Guard was the Sam Steele’s Scouts Association.

Donations to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Association at 200, 119 14th Street NW Calgary, Alberta T2N 1Z6 or the Heart and Stroke of Ontario Branch in memory of Dwayne Robert Casselman will be gratefully acknowledged.
