Bantam B Demons snap five game losing streak

BROCKVILLE – The North Dundas Demons snapped their five-game losing streak November 5th in Brockville, beating the Braves B2 team 6-2.

North Dundas forward Sam Hart (unassisted) scored the team’s first goal just 23 seconds into the game. The Braves answered back less than two minutes later, tying the game 1-1. Cam Shaver (from Vanessa Latulippe and Luke Byvelds) restored the lead a minute later, then Hart (from Maddux England and Ben Forrester) added an insurance goal in the fifth minute of the period. The Braves cut the Demons’ lead to one goal in the 10th minute. North Dundas led Brockville 3-2 into the second period.

The Demons added three more goals in the next two periods. Shaver (from James Martens and Alex Sylvestre) scored late in the second period; Sylvestre (from Nolan Stewart) and Martens (from Braden Barrie and Hart) each scored in the third. Demons won 6-2.

The fourth place Demons next travel to Cardinal November 10th to take on the South Grenville Rangers.
