MORRISBURG – With less than two months until South Dundas voters go to the polls, people will have three opportunities to meet the candidates and hear them answer questions.
As with past elections, three all-candidates meetings have been organized by the South Dundas Chamber of Commerce. Matilda Hall will host the first meeting on October 3rd. Candidates will meet again October 11th for the second meeting, this time at the Iroquois Civic Centre. The last meeting of the three will take place October 15 at the Upper Canada Playhouse.
No format or start time has been announced by the chamber.
In neighbouring North Dundas, three candidates debates will also take place. September 17th at the agricultural hall in South Mountain; September 24th at the Chesterville Legion; and October 1st at the Joel Steele Hall in Winchester. All three meetings have a start time of 7 p.m.
South Stormont residents so far only have one opportunity to meet the candidates. That meeting will be September 25th at the South Stormont township hall in Long Sault starting at 6:30 p.m.
