Plane crash in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal

EDWARDSBURGH-CARDINAL – A single-engine plane crashed just before noon today (March 20th) on Froom Road in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal, just west of Marine Station Road.

The accident involved a Cessna 150 aircraft. The pilot of the aircraft was transported to hospital with severe injuries. There were no passengers in the plane.

Investigators from the Grenville County OPP, the Technical Support Branch, Transport Canada and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) remain at the scene.
