Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice, in the arms of her loving family, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, Isabel McInnis (nee Lindsay) of Morrisburg. Beloved wife of Carlton (Mike) McInnis of Morrisburg. Loving mother of Sherry Fairweather (Don), Toni Bowen (Gary), Scott Corden and stepmother of Stephen McInnis (Jeanie), and loving friend of Maggie Corden. Grandmother of Christopher Malloy (Weronika), Pamela Jones (Scott), Michael Malloy, Katie Corden (Collin), Thomas Corden. Great Grandmother of Henryk Malloy and Oskar Malloy. Aunt of Brent Mattice (Tina). Survived by brother Gordon Lindsay (Kay). Predeceased by son Tom Corden, sister Jean Mattice, parents Elizabeth and Graham Lindsay and Aunt Mame.
As the grateful person that she always was, Isabel said she was very thankful for her loving family, friends, caregivers and her wonderful physician, Dr. Rivington.
Funeral Arrangements
At Isabel’s request, there will be a private family service. A celebration of her life will be held at the Iroquois Golf Club on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm. Family, friends, former students and quilting “girls” are encouraged to come and share fond memories. Donations to either the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the J. W. Macintosh Seniors’ Support Centre in Williamsburg would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home Williamsburg.
