Glen Robert Linnen passed peacefully with his beloved wife, Lorna, of 51 years, and daughter Heidi (MacDonald) by his side at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday November 14, 2016.
Lorna will miss their times together; going to the movies, motorcycling, travelling and cherishing time with family.
He was predeceased by his mother “Velma” and his dad “Dick” (Clarence).
Glen’s handyman teachings will be missed by his daughter and especially by his son-in-law David.
Glen’s loving legacy continues through his grandchildren Brett and Bryce.
They will miss Poppa’s garden, his bonfires, fishing, swimming, skating and having him cheer on their hockey games.
Glen is survived by Gary and his wife Anna (Cardinal), Rick and his wife Joan (Charleston Lake), Susan and her husband Bill (St. Catharines) and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Glen enjoyed tinkering in his workshop, tearing down and rebuilding anything that needed fixing.
He had many friendships built in Cardinal and throughout the wider communities and also in his many years working at Casco.
Heartfelt thanks to the Brockville General Hospital staff for their care, support and show of love to Glen and to his family and friends.
A special thank you to the late Dr. Bhatt for expert care and guidance over many years.
Thank you to Dr. Mansworth and staff at The St. Lawrence Lodge; we offer our sincerest gratitude for Glen’s care.
Finally, to our family and friends, you have been our strength in this difficult time.
