Tents up, it’s Antique Festival time again

The tents will be going up over the next few days to make way for the 18th annual Antique Festival.

Held here in the Morrisburg Plaza, organizers say that those attending can expect to see an event very similar to last year’s.

This year, the tents will be grouped together in one area of the Morrisburg Plaza parking lot, immediately west of the Cassell Road Plaza entrance.

In previous years the plaza courtyard had some of the vendors, but this year, it was decided to group them all in one area.

As always, admission is free.

The plaza will be a busy place as the Farmer’s Market will be in full swing during the festival and on Saturday, the Golden Gears car club will cruise in to display their collector cars from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The long range weather forecast looks great for the weekend. Nonetheless, Antiquefest runs rain or shine Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Vendors and local store owners are really looking forward to this weekend’s antique festival in Morrisburg.
