LCBO customers say yes to $30,115 for United Way of SDG

United Way/ Centraide of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry receive an impressive pledge from local LCBO stores which raised funds through employee payroll deductions as well as generous customer donations during two in-store campaigns in August and October. 

“Each year we are delighted with the enthusiasm the LCBO staff demonstrates for the point of sale campaign – it shows with these amazing results”, said Michael Galvin, 2015 Campaign Chair. 

“The generosity of the customers and staff will improve many lives in our community of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.” 

An impressive total of $30,115 was the result in support of United Way/Centraide SD&G. 

“A heartfelt thank you to the staff for their efforts and to all of the customers who said yes at the cash register,” said Galvin. “Your support and generosity is greatly appreciated.” 

LCBO stores across Ontario participate in an annual United Way/Centraide fundraising campaign. 

The donation to United Way SD&G was comprised of donations from stores in Alexandria, Chesterville, Cornwall, Iroquois, Lancaster, Long Sault, Maxville, Morrisburg and Winchester.
