Peewee Demons win, Shaver collects shut ouot

 

The North Dundas Peewee B Rep Demons took their game to the arena here last Tuesday, November 3, and cashed in on a big 13-0 win against South Stormont.

All 12 of the Demons skaters and goaltender Brendan Shaver recorded at least one point in the victory that saw them lead 5-0 after the first period and 9-0 after two.

Jayme Heuff and Ben Lapier had three goal performances, while Nolan Henry and Keiran McQueen-Ladouceur backed them with two goals apiece. Singles came from the sticks of Adam Barkley, Josh Broad and Cole Eikelboom.

Jaymen Heuff, Owen Fetterly, Emytt Fetterly, Adam Barkley and Reise Marriner all contributed assists in the win. 

Brendan Shaver was in net for the Demons’ shutout and the Big Stick Winner was Jaymen Heuff.

The Demons are in second place in the East Division Peewee B Rep standings with eight points on four wins and one loss. NGS leads the division with 11 points on five wins, one loss and one tie.

Alexandria is third with five points, South Stormont has four, Cornwall two and Char-Lan is still looking for their first win.

Coming up this week, the Demons host Brockville tonight (Wednesday, November 11) at the Winchester Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. This Saturday, November 14 they travel to Cornwall.
