A resident of Morrisburg for the past 33 years, Nick Theodosiou passed away at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, September 27, 2015. He was 70.

Nick was born in Greece, on October 14, 1944, to his parents Polycarpos and Efstathia Theodosiou (nee Tassakos).  

Nick is survived by his wife Janet Theodosiou (nee Manuell), by his daughters Effie Vardaxoglou (Billy) of Laval and Matina Tsiavos (Chris) of Laval, and his stepdaughter Becky Pena of Ottawa.

He will be remembered by his grandchildren Alexandros, Eleni and Ioanna Vardaxoglou; his brother Tony (Stephanie) and his family Effie and Paul; his sister Toula Tsigenopoulos (Aris) and her family Rhea, Michel and  Paul; and his cousin Bobby Tassakos and his family Spiros, Marina and Lambros.  

He was predeceased by his parents Polycarpos and Efstathia Theodosiou and his brother Bob.  

Friends called at the Bernier M A Blyth Funeral Home, 940 Ave. Ogilvy, Montreal, on Thursday from 5-9 p.m. 

Funeral service was held at Holy Cross Church, 4865 Souvenir Blvd., Laval, on Friday, October 2nd at 11 a.m.  Interment followed at Notre Dame de L’Esperance Cemetery in Laval.    

A Celebration of Nick’s life was held at Nick’s Family Restaurant in Morrisburg, on Saturday, October 3rd from 2-5 p.m.  

Arrangements were entrusted to the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
